WW2 - Did German Panzer divisions (Western front/Ardennes) repaint their tanks in the winter? - ww2 camo blog templates
I had no solid information on the topic. I read that it was painted in white / gray in December 44, but not painted, but covered in camouflaged improvised white / gray cloth, mud and branches.
All information, including links to images or recommendations of books that will be greatly appreciated.

Winter Camouflage existed the link below documents, lime was one of the recommended measures and records such as snow and leaves of torque.
U.S. tanks and tarpaulins used for snow cover, some soldiers wore white coats to cover their uniform.
The photos are not reliable for several reasons - the lighting, contrast, film type, the condition of the photo / film, etc.
The typical application of color is 55 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The Ardennes in the winter, temperatures would probably have 5 to 30 degrees. Any kind of color would have been meaningless color on technology standards. Camouflage was possible.
