Where Is The Tufted Duck Native To Where Can I Go On The Web To Identify Species Of Birds?

Where can I go on the web to identify species of birds? - where is the tufted duck native to

I've tried, but it was not really satisfied with other sites. I live in a small pond and beautiful in Bellingham WA. There are different types of ducks, geese, herons and eagles named Bob, and a variety of pics! But as I looked at the pond almost every day, I wanted to know who he is. I have a bird book, but it is a duck pond that is not in him. Where can I describe, and ask to search for photos, and actually someone? Or better yet, if one of the ornithologists, perhaps you can help me. It is a medium-sized duck with black back, white everywhere except the head, deforming and even in black. The head is also the flag. Males have a white ring around half of its Beeks. The females are brown. The babies are all brown and DowNY. Please help me or send me photos when I can this family are identified. Thank you.

Now I wanted to identify a spider in my garden, I went to Google Images and type in my basic description ... did not take long to figure out what I wanted, and the sides were often taught me well to describe other spiders that lived in the region.
I'm sure that would be the same, to be presented to the birds, including the search for a place for bird watching for links to the classification of birds.
I regret not be able to help more.
